Annita Louise Allen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Annita Louise Allen (Louisville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Moore and Marie Moore (Secuskie) of Muncie, Indiana.; her former husband Coakley Dean Skaggs; her husband David Robert Allen; her son Tommy Lee Skaggs; her grandson Ryan Alan Skaggs; and her sister Judy Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Skaggs (Debra) and Sherri Neal (Don); her daughter-in-law Janell Skaggs; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Neal (Jacqueline), Jennifer Burba (Jason), Brian Skaggs, Andrew Neal, Kevin Skaggs (Shelby), Evan Skaggs (Caroline) and Juliet Deitering (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Clementine Burba, Benjamin Burba, Kenton Burba, Lawson Burba, Nora Skaggs, Emmitt Skaggs, Clarke Deitering, Jackson Skaggs and Jaycie Skaggs; and her sister Cova Coppler. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Homes - Dixie Highway (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Owen Funeral Home (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Bethany Memorial Cemetery (10917 Dixie Hwy, Valley Station, KY 40272).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Cabbage Patch Settlement House or Make-A-Wish Foundation.
