She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Brown and Julia Brown; her husband Jody Jones; and her siblings, Linda Bryson, Diane Patterson, Samuel and Robert Elliott.

She is survived by: her nephew Dorsey Bryson III (Frankie); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lauren Basaldua (Rudy), Megan Clem (Travis), Natalie Bryson and Matthew Bryson; and also Wyatt.
