It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Wilson (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Barbara Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Knope and Nell Knope; her husband Sam Wilson; her children, Scott Wilson, Jannelle Fuqua and Julie of Vaulx; and her grandchildren, Robert, Scott Nutter, Charlotte and Beatrice.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home (3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40205). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Albert the Great Church (1395 Girard Dr, Louisville, KY 40222).
