She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Waterman Heimerdinger; her parents, John A. Koehler and Carrie Schott Koehler; and her siblings, Ruth, Alberta, Bud (John Jr.) and Bob (Robert).
She is survived by: her sons, Carl (Glenna) and David Heimerdinger (Peggy); and her grandchildren, Rachel (Joseph Clements), Matthew and Nicole Heimerdinger. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Highlands Funeral Home (3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40205). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church or to a charity of your choice, or to honor Betty's life you might plant something that blooms in spring.
