He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson and Anna Evelyn Farris (Crouch); the mother of his children Alverta Brandenburg Farris; his wife Gerogetta Farris; and his sister Nancy Clay Farris Stansbury.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer DeSpain (Rob), Robin Mae Farris and Thomas Clayton Farris (Christy); his grandchildren, Robert Thomas Farris, Julia Ainsley Farris Kalister, Robert Trenton DeSpain, Aiden Walker Farris and Elena Marie Thomas; and his great grandchild Samson Thomas Farris.
The family requests that contributions in Bob's memory be made to the Billy Graham Foundation - Samaritan's Purse International Relief (PO Box 3000 Boone, NC 286607).
