She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Newton (Venita), Teresa Yates (Ray), Michael Newton (Karen) and Joey Newton (Michele); her grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica, Kimberly, Erica, Avery, Amanda, Elizabeth, Joseph, Kristen, Stephanie, Domonic, Jeremy, Dorian and Jordan; and her sister Alma.
