Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bridget Geneva Kimbrough of Louisville, Kentucky, born in Belvidere, Tennessee, who passed away, on September 9, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Martin and Susie Brazelton (Fuqua); and her siblings, Louis Martin, Emma Shepard and Ronnie Martin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Carter (Mark) and Yashica Porter (Samuel); her grandchildren, Mark Carter, Jr. (Ni'Kimbra), Leon Carter (Samantha), Chancie McKenna, Lundynn Porter and Samuel Porter; and her sister-in-law Edith Martin. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family requests that contributions in Bridget's memory be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or the Louisville Urban Christian Academy.
