He is survived by: his wife Vera Gaar Plymale; his brother Edward Neill Plymale (Sue Joiner); his sons, Keith Duncan Plymale (Sara Soka), John Russell Plymale (Kimberly Barr) and Samuel Francis Gaar Plymale (Monica Reynolds); his grandchildren, Leah Malcolm Plymale, Kara Elizabeth Plymale, Leonardo Francis Plymale, Lucia Elizabeth Plymale, Garrett "Channing" Plymale, Chelsea Blair Plymale and Georgina "Gigi" Colett Plymale; his great grandchild Brooks Lee Tingle; his sibling's children, William Edward Plymale (Nancy Masticola) and Cindy Plymale Ward; Bill Himbaugh, Mary Himbaugh Conver, Alison Frank and Jessica Frank Weathers.
