He was predeceased by : his parents, William L. Rogers and Margaret E. Simpson Rogers; and his wife Louise Rogers. He is survived by : his children, Carl L. Rogers (Debra), Gary R. Rogers (Betty) and Jean Skaggs (Sam). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fern Creek Funeral Home (5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Beulah Land Bible Baptist Church.
