With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Damon Gregory Carta Sr. of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 31, 2025 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Anthony Carta II; his girlfriend Melissa Hubbard; and his sister Sara Burden. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Hancock Davis; his children, Damon Carta Jr. (Sydney), Caden Carta and Adelynn Carta; his siblings, Tony Carta III (Crystle), Dana Crabtree (Glenn), Jason Carta (Christy), Brandon Carta (Rachel), Adam Carta (Stephanie), Derrick Carta (Renee) and Nick Carta; and his pet Beetles. He is also survived by extended family and close friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
