He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Magruder and Lillian Magruder; and his brothers, Marvin Magruder and James Magruder. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie "Sharon" Magruder; his children, Amanda Magruder, Kate Genesis and Col. Daniel Magruder Jr. (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Maverick, Makenna Magruder, Lily and Ronin Genesis; and his siblings, Cheryl Magruder Myers (Tom) and Gerry Magruder.
