He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlo F. Layten and Darthy Layten; his uncle William Brown; and his aunt Meta Lemons. He is survived by: his wife Janet Barnett Layten; his sons, David Alexander Layten and Bradley Allen Layten; his sister Denise Layten (Craig Smith); and his uncle James Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
