He was predeceased by: his son Edward "Courtney" Pearson; and his brothers, Lynn Dow Pearson and Robert Clarence "Bo" Pearson. He is survived by: his wife Penelope "Penny" Hill Pearson; his sons, Kent David Pearson (Lynn) and Glen Hill Pearson (Patti); his grandsons, Kennie Anderson (Michael) and Luke Pearson; his sister Mary Gayle Smith; and also Jennifer Trumbo.
