It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Jeffrey Dischinger of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Stephen, Margaret Price, Urban and Mildred Dischinger. He is survived by : his parents, Ronald Lee and Margaret Alice Dischinger; his siblings, Christopher Lee Dischinger (Lisa), Robert Joseph Dischinger (Daphne) and Janet Marie Dischinger; his nieces and nephews, Ryan Jacob Dischinger (Ellie), Kara Marie Dischinger (Russ Wallace), Sierra Delann Dischinger, Daniel Joseph Dischinger and Jackson Tyler Austin; and his great-nieces, Sophie June and Lily Fay Dischinger. He is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Diabetes Association and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

“It is with great sorrow that we heard the news of David’s passing. He was hands down the best manager that we have ever had at Brookstone Sr Apartments. Since I’ve lived here since Oct 30, 2011, I can personally acknowledge that statement. What made him so great was his attention to detail, his fairness and honesty with everyone. He did what he said he would do- he gave honest answers even if it wasn’t something you wanted to hear. As a group, we feel like he cared about us and made a difference”
