He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Skaggs and Aileen Skaggs; his adoptive parents, Ola Hash and Ernest Hash; his stepmother Nina Skaggs; and his brother Jerry Skaggs.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Caroline Skaggs; his daughters, Amy Michelle Skaggs and Amanda Jane Doolin (Chris); his grandchildren, Chandler Ables, Channing Ables, Calyn Ables, Caleb Michael Doolin and Micah David Doolin; and his pet Bliss.
