He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore R. Hockman and Lillie E. Hockman; and his siblings, Curtis Hockman, Henry Hockman, Juanita Meeks and Sylvia Humphrey.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Hockman; his sons, Kevin R. Hockman (Teresa) and Timothy A. Hockman (Gena); his grandchildren, Kristi Mattingly (Derek), Brian Hockman (Holly), Aaron Hockman and Josie Hockman; his great grandchildren, Noah Hockman, Lily Hockman, Emma Mattingly and Myles Mattingly; his sisters, Faye Sedoris and Francis Brunner (Benny); and his brothers-in-law, Willard Brown (Wanda) and Tony Heun.

The family requests that contributions in Dennis's memory be made to Journey Bible Study Class (920 Blankenbaker Parkway Louisville, KY 40243) ATTN: Dave Kennedy.
