Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Derrick Deion Saunders Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 13, on June 25, 2025. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Wanda Saunders, Vickie Johnson and Samuel Johnson; his aunt Ivory Johnson; and his uncle Jesse Saunders.
He is survived by: his parents, Derrick Saunders, Sr. and Lakesha Saunders (Syverek Johnson); his siblings, Makhyia White, Lazhon Denton, Derrionna Saunders, Deonna Saunders, De'Erica Saunders and Jeremiah Whitten; his niece A'Marionna White; his cousin Dontez Edwards; and his close friend Aaden Hazelwood. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
