Though Diana Lynn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Rocky Mayer; and her parents, George Atzinger, and Shirley Atzinger, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Joy Solomon (John) and Hope Mayer (Mark Adkins); her grandchildren, Dawn Beter (Tyler) and Bobby Winebrenner; and her siblings, Anna Atzinger, Cathy Shannon, David "Tony" Atzinger (Linda) and Eric Atzinger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (2501 N Dixie Blvd, Fort Knox, KY 40121).
