He was predeceased by: his son Donald McClure, Jr.; and his parents, John McClure and Marianna McClure. He is survived by: his wife Linda McClure; his stepsons, Bo Cain (Christina) and Dale Cain (Heather); and his grandchildren, Dylan, Sarah, Tayla, Wyatt, Abagail and Selena Rose.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
