It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Francis Kruer Jr. (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Kruer Sr. and Jo Ann McCall Kruer; his siblings, Mark Kruer and Maryann Kruer; his sister-in-law Cindy Brinley; and his nephew Mark Burnett.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Kruer; his son Donald "Trey" Francis Kruer III (Mackenzie); his granddaughter Wrenlee May Kruer; and his siblings, Russell Kruer, Rebecca Crady (Jeff), Philip Kruer (Cheryl), Paul Kruer (Janet), Elizabeth Kruer and David Kruer.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Animal Protection Association (3808 Hamburg Pike, Jeffersonville, IN 47130) and Amedisys Hospice (305 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130).
