He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Lamar and Mattie Nell Akers; his wife Jane Greenwell; his children, Angela D. Greenwell and James A. Greenwell (Angela M.); his stepsons, Mark Stump (Renee), Brian Stump (Amy) and Craig Stump (Anita); and his siblings, Mike, Bobby, Steve, Joe, Jeanne and Janet. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
