Elizabeth Carolyn Mattingly Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Carolyn Mattingly of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lee and Grace Mattingly of Saint Mary, KY.; her husband Joseph Bryan Mattingly; and her brothers, Jerry and Hugh Mattingly.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Sarkis (John) and Charles I. Mudd Jr.; her grandsons, Tyler Sarkis (Gustavo) and Nicholas Sarkis; and her siblings, Dan Mattingly (Jan), Mike Mattingly, Fred Mattingly (Patricia), Tommy Lee Mattingly (Jennifer), Rita Ryan (Charlie), Mary Hamilton, Mabel Stilger (Jeff), Ellen Currey (Jim) and Jane Fugate. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (1000 N Beckley Station Rd, Louisville, KY 40245). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
