It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Everett Walton Scott of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lanzie Scott and Nannie Scott of Kentucky; and his wife Ada Scott (Rigney). He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Deschamp (Mark); his grandchildren, Scott Deschamp, Jessica Brooks (Rob) and Jordan Young (Spencer); his great grandchildren, Hudson Brooks and Harper Brooks; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Scott and Martha Lacks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Foundation.

“Walt old golfing buddy, I know they have room on those heavenly acres for a left -hander. We had many great trips to the Greyhound Tournaments and in the Louisville area. Beyond golf, however, you had a charitable streak that benefitted many over the years at your downtown parking lot and using the garden plots you tilled up for them. Rest easy my friend. Bob Korkin”
