She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Mills and Mary Ellen Mills; her husband Elmer Murray Wales, Sr.; and her children, Teresa, Elmer Jr., Rita (Herbert) and Donna (Michael).
She is survived by : her siblings, Carnelia "Kidd" L. Smith, Virginia Garner, Floyd "Pete" Benjamin Mills, Ellen Brown, Ina Rose, Earline Mills, Jimmy Mills, Alma "Tiny" Adams, Mary Brooks, Betty Perks, Richard "Emmett" Mills and Clark Mills; and her great grandchildren, Kaiden, Charley and Kamdyn.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
