He was predeceased by: his wife Nellie Mae Bright; his children, Robert, Michael Bright and Tracy Bright; his grandchildren, Greenlee Rodriguez and Zachary Bright; and his brothers, Gerald and Clifton Bright.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Bright, Kathy Bright, Michelle Bright and Jennifer Rodriguez (Eddy); and his sister Dorothy Henderson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the McDaniel Funeral Home (411 Fairdale Rd, Fairdale, KY 40118). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218).
