She was predeceased by : her parents, George Haddix and Elsie Haddix (Whitt); her daughter Vickie Smothers; her granddaughter Angela "Candi" Lindsay; her son-in-law Leo Henning; and her sister Glenna Jones.
She is survived by : her children, Regina Marshall, Jennifer Henning and George "Bill" Evans (Angela); her grandchildren, Tammy Barnett (Dwayne Garner), Daniel Marshall, Joseph Marshall, Kenneth Golden, Jr. (Steven Wimsatt), Renee Shires, Rachel Mueller (Jim), Billy Key (Brandi), Samantha Evans, Amanda Smith, Tony Evans, Amber Smith (Clifton), Grad, David Evans, Brian Smothers (Tennie) and Jenna Smothers (Eli); and her brother Robert Haddix (Miiko). She is also survived by 23 Great-Grandchildren; 19 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216).
