We bid farewell to Gloria Ann Gittings of Louisville, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 8, 2025 at the age of 72. Gloria Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit Holmes and Victola Holmes; her son Gary Gittings; and her siblings, Freddy Holmes, Linda Goodman, Ernest Holmes and Eddie Holmes.
She is survived by: her daughter Dana MacAllaster; her grandchildren, Megan, Jesse, Joe, Rachel (Jesse) and Jacob; and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Cora and Josie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hardy-Close Funeral Home (285 S Buckman St, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
