He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edward and Mabel Caroline Hobson; his brother Carlton Hobson; and his son Robert Keith Hobson. He is survived by: his wife Jean Hobson; his children, Leslie Ann Schnell (Keith), Michael Ray Hobson (Julie) and Gordon Ray Hobson, Jr. (Gayle); his sisters-in-law, Kathryn Hans (Mike) and Paula Koebel (Anthony); his grandchildren, Jennifer Schnell, Keith Schnell Jr. (Leigha), Michael Hobson Jr., Melanie Hobson Thompson, Marissa Hobson Payne (Chase) and Brendon Hobson; and his great grandchildren, Adalee Hobson, Tenley Thompson, Sloane Thompson, Keith Schnell III, Charles Schnell and Kyson Payne.
