With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Guy Howard Dorsey Jr. (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on May 9, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Guy Dorsey and Virgie Dorsey (Thompson); his wife Alene Dorsey; his children, Guy Howard Dorsey, III and Janet D. Howard; and his grandchild Jarrett Anderson.

He is survived by : his son Jathaniel Mark Dorsey (Maria); his daughter-in-law Wandella Dorsey; his grandchildren, Deondra Dorsey (Barbara), Jason Howard, Guy Howard Dorsey, IV, Jathaniel Mark Dorsey, Jr. (Candyce), Danielle Dorsey, Diana Dorsey and Jamika Drake; and his nephews, Milton Smith Sr. and Ronald Dow. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, three adopted grandsons, one great great granddaughter.
