He was predeceased by: his parents, Junie McMahan and Verda McMahan; his former wife Ruth McMahan; his wife Shirley McMahan; his sons, Henry McMahan, Jr. and Donald McMahan; his grandsons, Paul McMahan, Matthew McMahan and Nick Boston; and his siblings, Cleveland McMahan, Pauline Rock, Joe McMahan, Lizzie Bryant, Rose Lee Sanders, Johnny McMahan, Evelyn McMahan, Maureen Pinnick and Bobby McMahan.
He is survived by: his children, Patti McMahan Naville, Jeffrey McMahan (Jackie), Robert Boston (Jayne), Terry Boston, Timothy Boston, Ted Boston (Patty), Todd Boston, Tammy Anglin (Todd) and Erica McMahan; his grandchildren, Hank, Roy, Danny, Patrick, Erik, Amy, Carrie, Lara, Mara, Sean, Tiffany, Chris, Timothy Jason, Jeremy, Joshua, Taylor, Noah, Jenna, Tori, Jordan, Nicole, Devin, Brittney and Bethany; and his sisters, Mary Wiseman (Bobby) and Betty England.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (10600 Taylorsville Rd, Jeffersontown, KY 40299). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Chapel - Jeffersontown (10600 Taylorsville Rd, Jeffersontown, KY 40299).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
