With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hollis Ray Sims of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 22, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John Sims; his former wife Christine Sims; and his siblings, Hubert Sims, Lena Phillipe and Linda Sims.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Sims; his brother Lloyd Sims (Margie); his children, Hollis Ray Sims II and Terri Hatter (Charles); and his grandchildren, Dustin Sims (Chelsea), Jessica Webb (Dustin), Britney Hatter and Alison Hatter. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Hollis' name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
