With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Houston Cole Jr. (Louisville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2025 at the age of 66. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Houston had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Houston may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lorene Cole; and his brother Jerry Wayne Cole. He is survived by: his father Houston "Jerry" Cole, Sr.; and his brothers, Kevin Cole (Tracie), Keith Cole (Jodi), Kelly Hill and Mark Cole. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Third Avenue Baptist Church (1726 S 3rd St, Louisville, KY 40208). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
