With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Dakota Falone of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 14, 2025 at the age of 28. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy James Dakota leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though James Dakota may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his father James "Jerry" Falone. He is survived by: his mother Jennifer Falone; his siblings, Ondrea Smallwood (Eric), Jacob Falone, Colt Falone and Josie Falone; and his nephews, Trent, Carter and Noah. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hardy-Close Funeral Home (285 S Buckman St, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.

Donations for the cost of services may be made to the funeral home.
