He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Steedly and Martha Ann Gibson; his brother Ronald; and his nephew Brian Ramey. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Steedly (Jones); his children, William Steedly (Suzanne) and Ann Steedly (James Rineer); his grandchildren, Allison (Daniel), Colleen, Matthew (Heidy), Michael (Sara), Alex and Evan; his great grandchildren, Abigail, James, Leah, Timothy, Grace Lilly and Melody; his sister Doris Ramey; his sibling's children, Chris Ramey (Stacy), Drew Steedly (Carrie) and Jennifer Steedly; and his friend Rebecca Garret.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Strathmoor Presbyterian Church (2201 Hawthorne Ave, Louisville, KY 40205).
