He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorothy Higdon and James Rhodes; his sister Betty Clapp; his wife Terry Rhodes; his sons, James Rhodes Jr. (Hollie) and Glen Rhodes (Tonya); his grandchildren, James Rhodes, Brittany Orms, Dylan Rhodes, Destiny Rhodes (Russell), Zachary Humphrey and Joshua Rhodes; and his great grandchildren, Aleia Orms, Levi Rhodes, Ember Rhodes and Waylon Brown.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bosse Funeral Home (1355 Ellison Ave, Louisville, KY 40204). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the St. Michael Cemetery (1153 Charles St, Louisville, KY 40204).
