He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Ann Probus; his parents, James Probus Sr. and Katherine Baker; and his sister Judith Backer. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Byrnes (Ron), Christine Humphrey (Todd), Wesley Probus and Lori Bischoff; his grandchildren, Robert, Matthew, Stephanie Byrnes, Nolan, Elise Bischoff and Chasen Goad; and his siblings, Donna Short and Michael L. Probus.
