He is survived by: his wife Teresa Berry Dillon; his children, James Michael Dillon III (John "Neil"), Paul Andrew Dillon and Brooke Dillon Sampson (Stirling "Buddy"); his sisters, Mary Dillon Moon (John) and Kathryn Dillon Borg (Kevin); his siblings' children, Brigid Dillon, Thomas, James Moon, William, Emily Dyre, Michael, Andrew and Christopher Borg; and his grandchildren, Ella, Ava Dillon, Ainsley, Stirling "Tripp", Oliver, Seth and Jude Sampson.
