She was predeceased by: her husband Colonel George Christian Hoffmaster, Jr.; her daughters, Sally Hoffmaster Foy and Rebecca Jean; and her parents, Arthur R. Caldwell and Margaret S. Caldwell.
She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Darden (Wim) of Louisville; and her grandchildren, Katie Wettig (Theo) of Louisville, Charlie Darden of Louisville, Bill Foy Jr. (Kellie) of Roanoke, VA, Kelly Williams (Tom) of Fort Mill, SC, Ashley O'Rear (Josh) of Richmond, VA and Tommy Foy of Tega Cay, SC. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
