She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Margaret and Urban Beierle; her sister Betty; and her brother-in-law Bud Adams. She is survived by : her husband Dee Barney; her sons, Chris Barney (Lee Anne), Casey Barney (Angela) and Craig Barney (Robin); her grandchildren, Meaghan (John), Patrick (Molly), Cody, Johnny (Anna), Samantha and Isabella; her great grandchildren, Parker, Kaylee, Jackson and Maisie; and her sister Mary Lynn Dontchos (Leo).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jean's honor to Hosparus and the American Cancer Society.
