It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Dallas Skaggs of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Haskel, Leroy, Wallace Skaggs, Catherine Overcast, Ruby Meredith and Helen Webb.

He is survived by: his wife Colleen; his daughters, Renee Kennedy (Phillip), Hope Ling and Melissa Sparrow (Tim); his grandchildren, Matthew Kennedy, Danielle Kennedy, Anastasia Hall and Arianna McFarland; and his great grandchild Ezekiel McFarland.
