He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Alberta (Clark) and William Robert Pettus; and his sister Donna Gries. He is survived by: his wife Betty Pettus (Mulhall); his children, Robert Allen Pettus (Xiaofang Guo), Melissa Renee French (Ben) and Christopher Edward Pettus (Amrita); his grandchildren, Song Pettus (Tara), Barbara, Bryce French, Carson French and Levine Pettus; and his great grandchildren, Layla, Celeste Pettus, Kent Pettus and Hudson Pettus.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Homes - Dixie Highway (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Owen Funeral Home (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216).
