He is survived by: his children, Jewell Lamont Beard, Shawn Looney (Tracey) and Jeremiah Beard; and his siblings, Sandra Brown, Dianna Britt (Danny) and John E. Beard (Terry). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
