We bid farewell to Joan Marie Willinghurst of Louisville, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 26, 2025 at the age of 78. Joan Marie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert C. Willinghurst and Margaret Willinghurst (Pero); her stepmother Ella Dean Willinghurst; her sisters, Mary Louise Kilkelly and Barbara Gatton; and her nephew Christopher "Scott" Wine.
She is survived by: her sister Sharron Ellis; her brother-in-law Pat Kilkelly; and her nieces and nephews, Shannon Kelting (Chris), Brian Ellis (Jenny), Kevin Kilkelly (Cindy), Sean Kilkelly and Brigit Floyd (Chris).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Kentucky Humane Society.
