As Johanna departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Johanna. Though Johanna may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Brenton Gibbs and Gertrude Gibbs (Byrd Washington B. W.); and her sister Paula Gibbs. She is survived by: her children, Dawnzell, Alfonzo Cash Sr. and Lonzell Cash; and her siblings, Craig Gibbs, Brenda Ashley-Dean and Marsha Gibbs. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cowling Funeral Home Inc. (228 S Main St, Oberlin, OH 44074). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Westwood Cemetery.
