He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Henry Bonura Jr. and Rosemary Bonura (Olivier). He is survived by: his wife Carol Yokum; his children, Joe Bonura (Karen), Ann Yoho (David) and Nick Bonura (Nancy); his sisters, Kathryn Bollinger (Joe) and Linda Cook (Walter); his grandchildren, Joey Bonura, Katie Schaublin, Aubrey Brown, Julianne Bonura, Isabella Bonura, April Yoho, Elizabeth Wiseman, Isaac Yoho, Natalie Grubbs, Kevin, Carey, Annie, Kendall, Sarah, Michael, Janie, Allie and Matthew Bonura; and his great grandchildren, Theo Wiseman, McKinleigh, Fletcher, Levi Schaublin, Rosalene, Eloise and Zeke Brown.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Southeast Christian Church (1407 Moser Rd, Louisville, KY 40299).
