He is survived by: his wife Ella Mae Coomer Sullivan; his sister Mary Helen McElroy; his daughters, Sondra Gail Meyer (Paul) and Patricia Karen Taylor (Troy); his grandchildren, Keith Hamilton Meyer (Angela) and Jessica Gail Sharp (Ed); and his great grandchildren, Kaylin Ella, Audrey Diane, Jackson Harold and Vera Maxine.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
