With heavy hearts, we announce the death of La'Priest D. Maddox Sr. (Louisville, Kentucky), who passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Jaden and Adrian. He is survived by: his children, Latrice, Keiara, Brandon, La'Priest Jr., Da'Kendrin, Malik, Jeremiah, Josiah, Tykiesha, Amiyah, Ja'Myiah, Ja'Mauri and Trey; his parents, Deborah Floyd and William D. Carthen; his siblings, Sherice and Tericka Maddox; his grandparents, Walter and Bernice Scott; his nephew Charles Miller, III; and his former spouse Shawnte Marie Maddox. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the A. D. Porter and Sons Funeral Home - Southeast (4501 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the 'Priest's Funeral Service (4501 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218).
