She was predeceased by: her parents, James Blankenship, Sr. and Lillian Blankenship (Luttrell); her husband Kenneth Wheat; her brother James Blankenship, Jr.; and her granddaughter Madison Hensley.
She is survived by: her children, Shelley Duncan, Nicole Simpkins (Michael), Holly Dean (Thomas), Trisha Glendenning (Douglas), Amanda Hensley and Robert McGuinness (Elizabeth); and her grandchildren, Kristy Hanson, Troy Hammons, Joshua Duncan, Brian Winters (Melissa), Cameron Winters, Riley Miller Stephen Dean, Miranda Dean, Morgan Armendt (Hunter), Devon Hensley (Miami), Shawn McGuinness, Alyssa Fox (Chris) and Chase McGuinness.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
