She was predeceased by: her husband Willie John Johnson; her parents, Alonza Everhart and Minnie Everhart; and her children, Sheila Johnson, Andre Johnson and Lorenzo Johnson.
She is survived by: her son Dana Johnson; her sister Ruth Ann Robinson; and her grandchildren, Yolanda Quinn, Philip Johnson, Lorenza Lonnie Johnson II, Jarel Johnson, Eric Johnson and Danielle Johnson. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
