She was predeceased by: her parents, Clemente Melendez (Esperanza Guzman) and Esperanza Guzman; and her daughter-in-law Kellie McGuffin. She is survived by: her children, Chris Winchester, Lynette Foose, Larry Winchester and Leonard Winchester; her brother Carlos Melendez; and her grandchildren, Devyn Winchester, Isabella Foose, Alyssa Foose, Alex Foose, Tre Winchester, Colt Winchester, Aaron Ames and Desirae Ames. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
